While it might have been a "galaxy far, far away", come May the 4th, "STAR WARS DAY" transcends unto Singapore with the STAR WARS DAY: MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU Festival, to take place at the F1 Pit Building on 4 & 5 May 2018 (as part of the global 'May the 4th' celebrations) - featuring a weekend of All Things Star Wars-themed happenings - from feature film screenings, to pyrotechnics displays, Kids Jedi Academy Lightsaber Workshop, STAR WARS RUN Singapore 2018, STAR WARS tribute band; "Dark Empire", and even a chance to Meet Albin Johnson and R2-KT (See below for full story). Local collective of "doodle-bandits" Band of Doodlers will be doodling "live" and offering up 3 large canvases for charity auction at the end of the festival. We've previously featured #StarWarsDay SG 2016 (below snap), so this is definitely something to look forward to, IMHO.
