SINGAPORE ART BOOK FAIR 2017 (April 27-30, 2017)

SINGAPORE ART BOOK FAIR 2017 is an annual book fair specialising in contemporary art books & zines, and this year it opens Thursday April 27th (10AM—8PM) and exhibits thru 30th April, on Sunday at 7pm. Located at 7 Lock Road, Gillman Barracks, Singapore 108935, you can check out further info via www.singaporeartbookfair.com and/or Facebook Events Page. Admission is free.

Started in 2013, the SABF had at the back of its mind similar art book fairs that were being organised around the world. In the last edition, the fair was located at the ArtScience Museum. Increased in scale from its first edition, the latest fair saw over 8,000 attendees.

"In the upcoming SABF, our aim is to reach a wider audience, represent more diverse and international exhibitors, and work with new artists and publishers in the region. Visitors will include buyers and art book enthusiasts. Other art-related fringe activities will also be taking place."

Over a span of just 10 days in Tokyo City, Si Hui, the creative behind @chirashibomb, went around random train stations on a whim, capturing people and places in passing. These photos are part of her zine series "Tokyo Flush", which can be purchased separately as 2 different photo decks in the form of cards or stickers. The mess tonight as I finish the final touches before layout for an A3 foldout food zinemap on the glorious food of Melbourne! It will cover the places I visited while I was there earlier this year, as well as places I wanna go on my next trip down under!
